SMX is seeking USINDOPACOM AOR Planner to conduct development of SOCPAC's Supporting Plans to GCC Operational Plans (OPLANs), Concept Plans (CONPLANs), Base Plans (BPLANS); SOCPAC Commander's Estimates, Strategy, and Campaign Supporting Plans.
This position requires a DoD TS/SCI which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.

The proposed salary for this position is:
$92,400 - $153,900 USD

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of Theater SOCOMs (TSOC)-level OPLANs and CONPLANs.
- Coordinate with SOCPAC Directorates on all OPLAN and CONPLAN plan objectives and tasks.
- Coordinate and collaborate with USINDOPACOM, USINDOPACOM service components, USSOCOM, U.S. Forces Korea (USFK), U.S. Forces Japan (USFJ) and Special Operations Command Korea (SOCKOR) for SOF supporting requirements to inform SOCPAC's supporting plans.
- Contribute SOF-expertise into to SOCPAC's Commander's Estimates, SOCPAC's strategy, CSP, Country Action Plans, and all SOCPAC supporting plans to GCC's OPLANs and CONPLANs.
- Based on OPLAN and CONPLAN knowledge, contribute to and inform the development and maintenance of the Time-phased force-flow deployment data (TPFDD) for applicable OPLANs.
- Contribute subject matter expertise to sub-campaign plans for SOCPAC's CSP.
- Contribute subject matter expertise to the development of SOCPAC's Country Action Plans, Intermediate Objectives, and Mission Guidance Letters for SOCPAC's Components' execution of operations, activities, and investments (OAIs).
- Participate in OPLAN and CONPLAN-related war games, joint Planning Groups (JPGs), crisis action planning teams, exercises, conferences, and other efforts, as required.
- Prepare briefing slides, information papers, talking points and other relevant documentation for SOCPAC KLE with ranking US and foreign military, civilian, and diplomatic distinguished visitors, and ranking leaders.
- CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Must have a DoD Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access.
- Four (4) years of experience planning special operations at the tactical and operational levels.
- Two (2) years of consecutive experience in development of an GCC or sub-unified operational level OPLAN or CONPLAN using the Joint Planning Process (JPP).
- Two (2) years staff experience at the TSOC level or above.
- Completion of a service field grade officer Professional Military Education (PME) (i.e., Command and Staff, etc.)
Desired Skills & Experience
- DoD SAWS, JAWS, or SAMS graduate
- Three (3) to five (5) years of operational experience in the INDOPACOM Theater
- Excellent communications skills (oral and written)
- High degree of interpersonal skills to work well with multiple stakeholders (up, down and lateral)
