The Opportunity:

Seeking a ServiceNow Systems Administrator to maintain and optimize ServiceNow for a federal government customer. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of the ServiceNow platform, focusing on IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) applications. The ideal candidate will ensure system stability, performance, and continual improvement of ServiceNow processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily administration and configuration of the ServiceNow platform
  • Implement and maintain security protocols, including user access management and data protection
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks
  • Monitor system performance and conduct capacity planning
  • Create and maintain documentation for ServiceNow processes and configurations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement ServiceNow solutions
  • Provide tier 2 and 3 support for ServiceNow-related issues
  • Manage integrations between ServiceNow and other systems
  • Support Organizational Change Management and Continual Service Improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal government regulations and standards


Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 7 years' experience as a ServiceNow System Administrator
  • Must have a fully adjudicated secret clearance
  • Must be able to support full-time on-site in Arlington, VA
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
    • ServiceNow system administration and configuration
    • ITSM and ITOM processes and best practices
    • Performance tuning and optimization of ServiceNow instances
    • ServiceNow security and access control management

Desired:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
  • Experience with ServiceNow scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Angular)
  • ITIL certification
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience working in government or highly regulated environments
  • Knowledge of CMDB management and IT asset management

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$103,800 - $218,100
