The Opportunity:
CACI's growing Agile Digital Solutions Operating Group is searching for an experienced proactive and detail-oriented IT Asset Procurement Specialist to support NASA's IT acquisition efforts. who will be supporting the modernization and sustainment of a large portfolio of enterprise business solutions used by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). You will be part of a team where complex problem solving, and communication skills are critical to success. In this role, you will facilitate the end-to-end procurement process for hardware and software assets. This includes obtaining vendor quotes, validating asset needs with NASA's Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) and Technical Asset Manager (TAM), and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of approved assets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain updated and competitive quotes for IT hardware and software assets.
• Liaise directly with the NASA TPOC and TAM to validate that asset requests are current, justified, and mission aligned.
• Prepare and submit procurement documentation, including quote packages, justifications, and vendor correspondence, in accordance with NASA and federal procurement guidelines.
• Track and manage the procurement process from quote to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed throughout.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies related to pricing, specifications, or delivery timelines by communicating effectively with both vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure all procurement activities align with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and NASA-specific policies.
• Maintain organized documentation related to each procurement request, including approvals, communications, and vendor agreements.
• Provide regular updates to program and project managers regarding the status of ongoing procurements.
• Support the improvement of procurement workflows and suggest enhancements to increase process efficiency and compliance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field (experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
• 4-6 years of experience in IT asset procurement, acquisition support, or vendor management.
• Familiarity with federal procurement processes and requirements, including working with government clients or contractors.
• Experience obtaining and evaluating vendor quotes and managing procurement documentation.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with technical stakeholders and vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook) and procurement tracking systems or tools.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass NASA background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience supporting NASA or a similar federal agency in an acquisition or procurement role.
• Understanding of NASA's procurement processes and working relationships with TPOCs and TAMs.
• Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and NASA supplement (NFS).
• Familiarity with procurement tracking or ERP systems such as SAP, PRISM, or similar.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple procurements simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
