Job Summary

Raytheon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Integration & Test Engineer to support Exportability (XP) as part of the Missile Defense Programs (MDP) Department within the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) discipline. The successful candidate will be responsible for integration and verification of exportability capabilities in advanced radar systems. This role requires a deep understanding of radar platforms, system integration and test principles, and exportability techniques to ensure a successful implementation.

What You Will Do
  • Support implementation of Exportability solutions into RTX products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, development, testing, and validation to ensure successful integration and functionality of exportability capabilities.
  • Develop and execute integration plans, schedules, and procedures to meet project milestones and deliverables.
  • Perform system-level analyses and troubleshooting to identify and resolve integration issues.
  • Conduct system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  • Prepare and present technical documentation, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and customers.
  • Understanding, and compliance with, DoD technology release and export licensing policies


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Prior System Integration and Test experience on the AN/TPY-2 program
  • Prior experience with SI&T scope on Exportability programs
  • In-depth knowledge of radar technologies and system engineering principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain additional program access as required


Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience integrating AN/TPY-2 product in both domestic and FMS configurations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Past experience with technical leadership
  • Experience with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar budget tracking system
  • Experience with Raytheon's Proposal Capture Process (development of Basis of Estimates, etc)
  • Candidate must exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with coworkers, suppliers, stakeholders, and customers in a team environment
  • Experience contributing in a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to technical problems

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
