Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Maritime and Intelligence Systems (M&IS) seeks Audiovisual Technicians for our team in Herndon, VA to provide AV services in offices, single and divisible conference rooms, training rooms, collaboration rooms, and open areas and serve as the on-site liaison between the client, Boeing, and the other members of the on-site team.
Position Responsibilities:
This position requires an active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with current Polygraph (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Position Responsibilities:
- Daily onsite AV system troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
- Event support including set-up, in-meeting assistance, and break down, post meeting support.
- Preventative maintenance and daily AV system and conference room checks to ensure high levels of operational readiness
- Lead (level 4) or participate (level 3) in systems test planning and test execution and in validation of operational readiness through documentation, training, monitoring, ...
- Compliance with established client change management processes for AV software and firmware updates.
- Resolution of AV room/AV system technical issues by communicating with the client's AV Engineering team as well as Boeing Engineering and on-site support teams.
- Perform routine maintenance of advanced AV systems including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and break/fix repair of faulty systems and equipment
- Collaborate with the AV Engineer and Manager to plan and implement technology solutions.
- Onsite installation.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Willingness to upgrade from CIP to FSP (Full Scop Polygraph) or Current Full Scop Polygraph (FSP).
- 3+ years of related work experience for level 3.
- 5+ years of related work experience for level 4.
- Must be able to travel to various job sites as needed. Current, valid driver's license required.
- Ability to walk constantly throughout the workday; stand 6-8 hours per day; climb or work from stairs up to eight hours per day; climb ladders; bend and twist frequently up to six hours per day; squat and kneel.
- Ability to climb ladders at heights up to 15 feet and stairs on a regular basis.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of AV and VTC experience in maintenance, installation, configuration, and systems management (Cisco, QSC, Crestron, Thinklogical, ...)
- AVIXA CTS or CTS-I certification.
- Ability to configure signal flow, rack, and cabling following drawings/schematics in AutoCAD or Visio.
- Experience in conducting site surveys for AV considerations, constructing racks, pulling cables, installing projectors and sub monitors, and crimping/punch-down connections.
- Computer network configuration and troubleshooting experience.
