RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the senior technical advisor for systems engineering efforts across complex IT initiatives
• Lead integration and development efforts aligned with enterprise architecture and strategic objectives
• Oversee the full systems engineering lifecycle, from concept through deployment and sustainment
• Provide hands-on guidance in areas such as cloud, virtualization, and enterprise platform optimization
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of system designs with mission needs
• Contribute to architectural reviews, risk assessments, and technical planning
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical knowledge-sharing across teams
• Ensure compliance with relevant IC or DoD standards, policies, and frameworks

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, including leadership roles
• Experience in system integration, enterprise architecture, and IT lifecycle development
• Proficiency with systems modeling tools and engineering methodologies
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, virtualization, and enterprise platforms
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working in intelligence community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) environments
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as DoDAF or TOGAF
• Certifications in systems engineering or cloud platforms (e.g., INCOSE CSEP, AWS Solutions Architect)
• Background in leading cross-functional technical teams supporting mission-critical operations
