Responsibilities
As a Telecommunications Specialist II, you will:
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associate's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in telecommunications; 5 years preferred.
Active secret clearance (preferred)

Responsibilities
As a Telecommunications Specialist II, you will:
- Operate and maintain government-owned telephony switches (PBX), including Avaya Systems CM4.0.
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of switch-related issues.
- Conduct software updates, patching, and configuration of switch hardware.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure system health and performance.
- Support voicemail systems and Remote Intelligent Peripheral Equipment (IPE).
- Travel weekly to remote locations using a company-provided vehicle.
- Ensure all systems remain compliant with DoD/Navy standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Active secret clearance (preferred)
Certifications:
- Avaya Certified Support Specialist (ACSS) or equivalent (highly preferred)
- IAT Level II certification (per DoD 8570.01-M) (Security+ or equivalent required)
- Nortel Meridian System Administration or equivalent (highly preferred)
