Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer (SWE) to support the design, development, integration, and enhancement of software systems across mission‑critical programs. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands‑on development experience, and the ability to work within structured software engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance specifications.
- Debug existing software and implement corrective actions.
- Recommend improvements to documentation standards and software development processes.
- Design and code new software or modify existing applications to add new features.
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments.
- Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases and data repositories.
- Write or review software and system documentation.
- Serve as a team lead at the level appropriate to the project's software development process.
- Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces and queries.
- Develop or implement algorithms that meet or exceed system performance and functional requirements.
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
- Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, collaborating with users or system engineers, and evaluating system flows, data usage, and work processes.
- Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.
- Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical modeling to predict and measure outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Four (4) additional years of SWE experience may be substituted for the degree.
