Summary

TTG Solutions is seeking a skilled System Administrator to support our integrated learning enterprise. You will play a pivotal role in managing system performance, cloud server architectures, and system upgrades, while ensuring a seamless operation across our platforms.

Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for system administration in Windows and Linux/Centos Server environments, performance analysis and tuning in Apache/Tomcat Java Webserver, and managing AWS architectures including EC2, RDBS, S3, Elastic Load Balancer, and Route 53. You will also handle system upgrades, risk assessment and mitigation, providing Operations & Maintenance as well as Tier 1-3 support, managing customer relationships, and creating and updating standard operating procedures.

Experience Level

Subject Matter Expert Normally requires at least sixteen (16) years of experience specific to the skill or occupation. For specific computer languages, systems or technologies, expertise with the subject matter or technology outweighs the number of years of experience.

Required Skills

  • Experience with system administration in Windows & Linux/Centos Server environment
  • Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and tuning performance in Apache/Tomcat Java Webserver
  • Experience with Cloud server architectures, including AWS EC2, RDBS, S3, Elastic Load Balancer, Route 53
  • Experience developing and implementing system upgrades
  • Experience identifying technical risks and risk mitigation strategies
  • Experience providing Operations & Maintenance, Tier 1-3 Support
  • Customer relationship management skills
  • Experience creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Optional Skills

  • Experience using Agile management systems and methods such as Kanban or Scrum
  • Experience working in the DevSecOps environment, including CI/CD pipeline, cloudformation
  • Experience utilizing CLIs with Windows, AWS and Linux environments
  • Experience moving systems through the accreditation and authorization process and monitoring for compliance
  • Experience gathering evidence to support the accreditation and authorization process, such as POA&Ms
  • Experience installing and configuring the Moodle Learning Management System
  • Experience with Database engineering, development and administration

Clearance

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Base Salary$161,000 - $194,000
PTO30 days annual PTO, which includes holidays.
Retirement15% company retirement contribution. No match required. Vesting period is 50% per year over 2 years.
Paid BenefitsCompany pays all insurance expenses up to 8% of base pay. If your insurance expenses are less that that, we bonus the difference to you.
Annual Bonuses3% to 5% annual bonuses.
Cell Phone Stipend$100 monthly phone expense reimbursement.
Training Budget3 paid training days + $2,500 training budget
New Hire Bonus$5,000 new hire bonus
