We're looking for an experienced Simulator Console Operator (SCO) with a background in MQ-9 simulation support and tactical mission training to support critical defense training initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load and manage MQ-9 simulator missions (DTT, DMO) per established schedules
- Provide real-time tactical adjustments and white cell support (e.g., simulating external forces and agencies) during training
- Maintain simulator time-use logs and discrepancy reports; coordinate with manufacturers for resolution
- Troubleshoot simulator malfunctions and provide mission debrief support with feedback to instructors and crews
- Integrate voice or mIRC injects into training scenarios with instructor coordination
- Use tactical tools such as Zeus, CAVOK, and MACE to refine event profiles
- Prepare memos, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office tools
- Collaborate with Weapons (DOW), Training (DOT), and Current Ops for realistic training design
- Experience operating MQ-9 simulators or similar systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tactical software such as Zeus, CAVOK, and MACE
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (typically 0730-1630, Monday-Friday) to meet mission needs
- Top Secret/SCI clearance required
- Experience supporting MQ-9 continuation training or multi-ship operations
- Familiarity with Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) environments
- Background working with military instructor aircrews or simulation developers
