Principal staff officer for the Project on all matters concerning Logistics, Supply, and Property Management. Responsible for personnel supervision, implementation, and management of procedures, planning and coordinating all logistics activities. Other duties include monitoring the requisition, acquisition, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment as well as maintaining materiel records and ensuring the accountability and security of all government furnished supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Responsible for hiring and overseeing a staff that performs logistics support-related activities for the site.
Provides, monitors and revises employee's work assignments, reviews employee time sheets,
provides overtime requests with proper rational and maintains open line of communication for all department employees.
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for staff. This includes ensuring safe work practices and proper PPE are employed.
Manages logistics management functions for all supply and government accountable equipment and property by applying stock control policies and procedures to receive, inspect, store and safeguard inventories, supplies, and equipment.
Oversees management of vehicle operations to include coordination of vehicle and equipment requirements, assignments, priorities, maintenance, and repairs. Determines operational requirements and specifications including reliability, maintainability, and standardization for
vehicles and materiel handling equipment. Collects and analyzes data on vehicle operations and maintenance.
Manages/directs materiel management operations to include administration, direction, and management of retail or wholesale supply activities. Ensures accountability for supplies and
equipment. Manages assigned information systems.
Manages/directs distribution management operations to include induction, receipt, storage, and movement/positioning of supplies and equipment. Responsible for logistics pipeline management and time-sensitive delivery of materiel in support of operations. Maintains
accountability for supplies and equipment.
Manages all warehouse, shipping/receiving, and freight movement functions.
Performs other related work as assigned.
Interacts and briefs the government customer and other organizations on status reports.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
This position requires eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience at management level in Logistics functions.
Requires experience with computerized maintenance management systems (Maximo) and government management systems such as PCARRS, ESOH-MIS, DLA Business portal, WAWF (PIEE), etc.
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance.
Valid state Driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.
Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
