ABOUT US:
Snowcreek Consulting is a small government subcontractor with a dedicated team supporting federal contracts. Our employees work remotely or at government sites, providing mission-critical IT and cybersecurity services. We are currently seeking a proactive and skilled Rapid Response Team Lead to protect and support secure network environments.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a dynamic Rapid Response Team Lead to oversee cybersecurity incident response and ensure the integrity, security, and efficiency of DoD network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will be a strong technical leader with expertise in incident management, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance standards. This role requires real-time decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing process improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the Rapid Response Team in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity incidents with precision and urgency.
• Develop, refine, and implement incident response protocols aligned with evolving cybersecurity standards and threats.
• Manage and maintain network asset documentation, configuration management processes, and the CMDB to support operational readiness.
• Conduct simulation exercises and perform after-action analyses to improve team responsiveness and organizational preparedness.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity intelligence teams and internal stakeholders to assess threats and implement proactive defense strategies.
• Provide ongoing training and mentorship to team members to ensure expertise in current and emerging cybersecurity practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Security Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 3 years as a Lead Project Manager.
• Minimum of 3 years working in a DoD IT environment.
• Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required.
• Incident Response: Experience leading high-pressure cybersecurity incident responses in secure environments.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of configuration management, network security, and asset documentation processes.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
• Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to respond to rapidly evolving threats and make strategic decisions under pressure.
