The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Project Manager to support our Maritime Industrial Base Support Program. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of project execution, from planning and coordination to resolving technical issues and providing operational guidance. You'll play a critical role in managing complex projects, liaising with cross-functional teams, and ensuring mission success in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In addition to traditional project management responsibilities, you will serve as the PP&C Directorate Risk Manager, helping to create and manage a robust risk management program for all MIB-funded projects. This includes working directly with the PP&C Director, Deputy Director, PMO, and Project Managers to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks to project scope, schedule, cost, and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure to ensure alignment with program objectives.

• Act as a project leader at the individual order level, providing direction and leadership to cross-functional project teams.

• Coordinate project activities across technical, operational, and administrative functions, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

• Resolve technical and operational issues in collaboration with stakeholders, including quality assurance, engineering, manufacturing, and program management.

• Provide operational guidance for current and proposed projects, maintaining close liaison with key stakeholders and customers.

• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

• Serve as the PP&C Directorate Risk Manager; lead efforts to build and manage a formal risk management program across MIB-funded initiatives.

• Collaborate with program leadership to continuously assess and monitor risks related to scope, schedule, cost, and performance benefits.

• Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations tailored to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and government stakeholders.

• Provide strategic advice and subject matter expertise to project teams, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Consult with clients to define project requirements, assess risks, and recommend data-driven solutions to complex challenges.

Qualifications:

Required

• Active SECRET Clearance.

• 5-10 years of relevant project management experience.

• BA/BS or MA/MS degree. 12+ years of experience may be substituted for the minimum degree requirement.

• Proven ability to initiate, supervise, and manage projects from inception through completion, including complex and mission-critical programs.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct evaluations, develop recommendations, and implement process improvements.

Preferred:

• PMP or PMI-RMP certification.

• Experience in risk management programs or risk oversight functions.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$74,600-$156,700
