Job Description: GridIron IT is seeking a Joint Operation Execution System (JOPES) Manager
with an Active Top Secret (SCI Eligible) Clearance.
Position Description:
Primary responsibilities include coordination and execution of deployment/redeployment/rotation of forces. JOPES is the system of record for execution and to document the deployment plan and movement requirements.
Maintains technical expertise and a detailed working knowledge of the JOPES database and supporting systems, command roles and relationships, Joint and component policy, operational procedures, directives, communications and related ADP specifications, files, applications and capabilities that directly support DoD-wide time-sensitive planning for development and execution of contingency and crisis action planning
Serves as subject matter expert (SME) and civilian staff authority on the use of the automated planning processes in JOPES and related planning and deployment execution systems.
Provides essential continuity in analysis and implementation of progressive improvements to USINDOPACOM and component command control procedures and methods.
Extracts critical information from global force management (GFM) systems and manage rotational and emergent requirements in JOPES. Performs as a member of joint planning group (JPG) and operational planning teams supporting crisis operations. Provides continuous review, analysis and monitoring of programs, policy, guidance and systems administration.
Provides technical advice and assistance to functional elements outside the mobility division, JOPES operations, including future planning elements involved in the development, planning and reporting of movement requirements.
Assesses requirements for and participates in the development of computer programs to satisfy unique user requirements. These include data retrieval, manipulation and input utilities. Assesses impact of changing technology on current and future planning system applications and serves as subject matter expert for the next generation of the global command and control system (GCCS) and JOPES systems as they are developed, tested and fielded.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: $75,000-95,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
