Job Title: Senior Joint Force Development Analyst (ORSA)
Location: The Pentagon
Clearance Required: TS/SCI

Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Operations Research/System Analyst (ORSA) with military experience to support Joint Staff initiatives at the Pentagon. This position plays a critical role in evaluating joint force readiness, developing campaign models, and providing simulation-based analysis to support senior decision-makers across the Department of Defense (DoD).
The ideal candidate will be a U.S. Military Veteran with at least 5–6 years of active-duty military service, and bring deep experience in modeling force deployment strategies, resource allocation optimization, and providing analytical support for joint force development and capability planning.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and application of campaign and mission-level simulation models to assess joint force structure, operational effectiveness, and global posture.
• Analyze force deployment strategies, logistics, and resource distribution to recommend optimized solutions that enhance joint warfighting capabilities.
• Integrate and interpret large data sets from multiple sources to support strategic-level military planning and concept development.
• Collaborate closely with Joint Staff, senior military leadership, and civilian stakeholders to provide decision support products that shape national defense priorities.
• Prepare clear, concise briefings and reports to present modeling results, scenarios, and course-of-action analyses to senior stakeholders.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous development of modeling methodologies and tools.

Required Qualifications:
• Former active-duty U.S. military member with at least 5–6 years of service and current Reserve or National Guard status preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in operations research, systems analysis, or related field supporting DoD.
• Demonstrated expertise in force structure modeling, simulation-based analysis, and resource optimization in military contexts.
• Proven ability to communicate complex quantitative analyses to senior military and civilian audiences.
• TS/SCI clearance (active).
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline. (Master’s preferred.)

• Experience with campaign analysis, combat modeling, or mission-level simulations (e.g., AFSIM, JICM, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar analytics tools.
• Familiarity with joint force development, global force management, and capability portfolio management.
• Master’s degree in Operations Research, Analytics, National Security, or related field.
