The Senior Exchange Administrator will be responsible for system administration of Windows 2022 Active Directory-integrated servers, and the Microsoft Exchange 2019 environment. This includes managing the Database Availability Group (DAG) configuration, Outlook Web App (OWA), Exchange backups, Exchange storage, and resolving all related Exchange issues. • Design and configure Microsoft Exchange.
  • Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers.

  • Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation configurations and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
  • Assist the ISSO/ISSM in remediating vulnerabilities identified from network scans.
  • Apply DISA STIGs to harden Exchange and Windows Server, write security documentation, create Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs), and provide artifacts for Authority to Operate (ATO) processes.
  • Serve as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting.
  • Provide guidance and direction in resolving escalated issues and complex production, application, or system problems.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes; review system and application logs; and verify the completion of scheduled jobs.
  • Use command-line tools within Microsoft Active Directory, such as PowerShell automation, scripts, and batch files.
  • Perform and schedule daily backups and restores.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with back-end support to maintain up-to-date user data, troubleshoot problems with missing data and files, and utilize enterprise backup programs such as NetApp SnapCenter.
