About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AV Integration Specialist to support proprietary programs. This position focuses on installing, managing, troubleshooting, and implementing complex AV solutions for commercial and government customers in mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and document audio-visual system requirements based on client needs.
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of AV delivery systems and components.
- Translate customer requirements into detailed system designs, including architecture, facility layout, hardware/software selection, and integration.
- Perform system integration, including hardware and software installation, configuration, and upgrades for operational network architectures.
- Manage product selection and component integration, ensuring technical viability and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct usability, security, functionality, and performance evaluations for AV systems.
- Plan and coordinate enterprise-level software/hardware deployments.
- Ensure all systems conform to architectural objectives and evaluate production readiness.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and implement resolutions.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
- Active Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP) required; ability to obtain Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) post-start.
- 3+ years of experience in setting up and supporting large-scale Audio/Visual systems.
- 3+ years of experience integrating and installing AV solutions, including design, engineering, and implementation.
- 3+ years of experience communicating with clients in technical discussions (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry (or equivalent work experience).
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or CTS-I certification.
- Experience in CAD or Visio for system design documentation (signal flow diagrams, equipment elevations, BOMs, configuration guides).
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and uploading control system files (Cisco Hyperflex, Network Virtualization, Crestron, Thinklogical).
- Experience with audio Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) (Biamp, QSC) for audio system tuning and troubleshooting.
