The Opportunity:
As a CACI-Mission Engineering & Support Senior R esearch and Experimentation planner, you will support the US Army North G5 Future of Homeland Defense (FHD) project in solving near, mid, and long term challenges confronting the nation out to the year 2040. US Army North FHD project requires expertise to provide comprehensive research and plans informed from all source analyses and assessments of relevant data. The project incorporates inputs and collaborative efforts with representatives and staff personnel from US Army North, US Special Operations Command - North, United States Special Operations Command, Army Futures Command, TRADOC, HQDA, the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community and subject matter experts from academia and private industry.
Responsibilities:
As the Research and Experimentation Planner, you will be responsible for policy planning, research, and development of experimental initiatives and plans IAW project requirements and Army North G5 goals and objectives. You will also be responsible for but not limited to producing written outlines, narratives, concepts, visual graphics, resource allocations and timelines for all experimentation initiatives and plans as required.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop and publish comprehensive lists of critical milestones to accompany all experimentation planning documents.
- Identify and analyze through research potential risks, obstacles or challenges to experimentation and devise proactive strategies to mitigate the identified risks, obstacles or challenges.
- Identify, analyze and distro lessons learned and best practices for each iteration of research and experimentation planning.
- Work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of the Army North FHD team.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must have a current Secret clearance and eligible for TS/SCI.
- Minimum of Master's degree and 15+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience planning and leading transportation and/or logistical operations and activities at the Army Brigade, Division or Corps levels.
- Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real or near real time knowledge management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
Desired:
- Experience supporting Army or Joint organizations in a deployed environment.
- Experience serving on the Army, Joint or Office of Secretary of Defense staffs.
