Base-2 Solutions is seeking motivated undergraduate or graduate students for a Summer/Fall 2025 Contracts internship. Interns will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to real-world projects while gaining valuable industry insights. The Contracts Intern will aid in reviewing, tracking, and administering contractual documents, gaining exposure to contract lifecycle management and compliance in the GOVCON space. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, are eager to learn, and able to commit up to 25 hours a week through December 2025. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the drafting, review, and editing of contracts, NDAs, and modifications under the supervision of senior contract staff
- Support contract file organization and maintenance to ensure documentation is complete and up to date
- Conduct research on contract terms, industry standards, and relevant regulations (e.g., FAR, DFARS)
- Assist with data entry into contract management systems and internal trackers
- Help monitor contract deadlines, deliverables, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Legal, Finance, Procurement) to gather information and support contract execution
- Participate in meetings, prepare summaries, and contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Provide general administrative support to the Contracts team as needed
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Pre-Law, Government, Legal Studies, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written communication abilities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Prior internship or coursework related to contracts, procurement, or legal support is a plus
- U.S. Citizenship may be required for work on government contracts
