We seek an experienced Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO) Task Lead Systems Administrator to provide 24/7 advanced technical support for VIP/Executive-level personnel within a DoD environment. This deployable role involves frequent CONUS and OCONUS travel (50–60%) and requires a current U.S. passport. As the ideal candidate, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and restore various IT systems—including networks, PEDs, laptops, and peripherals—to ensure continuous, secure communication capabilities. You will be key in exceeding client expectations and supporting RedSky’s operational excellence and innovation mission.

To thrive, you should have:
• A Top-Secret (TS) clearance, with the ability to upgrade to Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI), is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree preferred or 4+ years of Help/Service Desk experience, ideally within a DoD environment, prior military or tactical communications experience strongly desired.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows 10, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, enterprise imaging/deployment, and Remedy Help Desk; strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN), encryption devices, and client-server applications.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT-II compliant (e.g., CompTIA Security+); preferred certifications include MSCE, CCNA, A+, Network+, and ITILv4.
• Willingness and ability to deploy globally, often to austere environments; must meet the Minimal Standard of Fitness for Deployment and maintain a valid U.S. passport.
• English fluency required.
Responsibilities as the Communications Team Member include:
• Deliver 24/7 technical support for VIP communication systems, ensuring secure and reliable voice, video, and data connectivity.
• Test, configure, and maintain mobile and deployable communications equipment to ensure rapid deployment readiness within one hour of notification.
• Install, diagnose, maintain, and repair IT hardware and software, including networking gear, encryption devices, and peripheral systems.
• Provide technical support at CONUS and OCONUS locations, ensuring mission readiness and operational continuity during travel assignments.
• Technical Solutions: Maintain accurate documentation, apply system updates, patches, and configuration changes to enhance security and performance.
