CACI is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Operations Analyst, Senior, to join our team to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award .

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operations activities of the Enterprise Information Environment (EIE) management processes in alignment with ITIL best practices. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient implementation of the execution and operations across USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and interprets operational data to identify trends, assess operational effectiveness, and prepare detailed reports for senior leadership in support of Command and Control Interoperability Program (C2IP) services


  • Assists in planning, execution, and evaluation of military operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational requirements


  • Identifies inefficiencies in current processes and recommend improvements or adjustments to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.


  • Supports development of operational plans, policies, and procedures in coordination with key stakeholders


  • Assists in assessing and improving combat readiness, including analyzing force capabilities and resource allocation to meet mission requirements


  • Prepares and presents detailed briefings on operational performance, mission progress, and critical issues


  • Supports risk management activities by assessing potential risks in operational planning and execution, offering solutions to mitigate threats to mission success


  • Ensures all operational processes comply with regulations, standards, and guidelines as outlined by DoD and the combatant command.


  • Monitors operational developments, identifies potential issues, and provides recommendations


  • Provides support related to operational software tools and systems, ensuring their functionality and troubleshooting any issues that arise during operations


  • Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments


  • Plans and leads major technology assignments


  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments


  • May supervise others


Required Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active secret level clearance


  • Bachelor's degree in information technology , Computer Science, or related field


  • Minimum 8 -10 years of experience in IT Operations or similar technical operations roles


  • E xtensive experience providing mission planning, evaluation, and readiness support for military operations


  • Experience with Joint Task Force C2 requirements


  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification


  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate meetings with diverse groups of stakeholders


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


  • Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field


  • Experience in a large, distributed IT enterprise


  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$90,300-$189,600
