Responsibilities:
- Become a key member of the Pentagon's National Leadership Command Capabilities (NLCC) Management (NMO), assisting in establishing, tracking, and supporting the NLCC's ongoing Mission Assurance program.
- Support the NLCC Councils' directive of assessing key DOD locations, involving coordination across Joint COCOMs, Services, and DTRA.
- Serve as the principal staff assistant (PSA) for PNT policy, providing oversight and guidance on PNT enterprise-wide architecture and requirements.
- Ensure new and existing DTRA and Cyber teams receive oversight and support from the DOD CIO to enhance their effectiveness.
- Coordinate and schedule Secure VTCs and ad hoc meetings to keep senior leaders informed of results and provide necessary deconfliction or Pentagon-level support.
- Attend high-level DoD meetings, offering professional judgment and NLCC expertise on behalf of the government customer, focusing on Mission Assurance responsibilities.
- Utilize strong writing skills to prepare CIO issue papers for inclusion in the annual President's Budget/Program Objective Memorandum cycles to secure program funding, draft senior-level correspondence, and ensure quality control of CATMS package responses.
Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Master's degree (MA/MS) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating exceptional expertise.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to rapidly evolving changes in a highly visible, dynamic environment.
- Strong writing skills, capable of producing executive-level briefing slides, correspondence, and packages.
- Knowledge of DoD services, components, COCOMs, and stakeholders in the Senior Leader Communications mission domain.
- Technical proficiency with office products (Word, Excel, Teams).
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to serve as a customer-facing expert.
