Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team at Fort Meade, MD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications. The Senior Systems Administrator will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, implementing security measures, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of our systems.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain servers, networks, and software applications
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution
• Implement security measures to protect the organization's data and systems
• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in systems administration
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Linux Experience (RHEL preferred but will accept CentOS)
• Knowledge of Security practices. This can include any/all of the following: IAVA's-Cyborgbunny/Nessus/Tenable-LatteArt- STIG's RMF Process
• Scripting Experience (Ansible preferred, Bash acceptable)
• AWS Experience/Knowledge
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
