Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES).

Key Responsibilities:

AI Engineer - Senior :

  • R esponsible for architecting and implementing AI/ML models and systems, providing analysis and guidance to improve overall performance, and mentoring team members on best practices


  • Create technical frameworks and setups for implementing strategies


  • Your primary focus areas will include deploying tooling in disconnected environments, fostering relationships with classified systems developers, optimizing infrastructure as code and software bills of materials, and providing deployment expertise across the technology stack


  • Identifying classified program model training and deployment pain points


  • Researching, understanding, and deploying third-party and in-house machine learning capabilities


  • Incorporating deployment lessons learned for improved deployment artifacts


  • Establishing recommended vision and objectives for MLOps platform disconnected environments support


  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI/ML applications, build scalable models, and integrate them into our products and services


  • May supervise others


Qualifications:

R equired Skills :

  • Current Secret Clearance with eligibility to obtain TS is required .


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Mathematics, or similar field


  • F ive years' experience in AI/ML modeling and system implementation


  • Must meet DoD 8140 IAT Level II or IAM Level I


  • Excellent communication skills


  • Ability to work in a team.


  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Ability to plan and lead major technology assignments
    project growth and success


  • Experience providing recommendations to improve efficiencies


Preferred Skills:

  • Master's degree preferred.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$89,500-$188,000
