FJM Innovative Technologies, LLC is hiring a Mid-Level Python Developer to contribute to the design and development of data processing applications. This role requires taking ownership of portions of the SDLC while working with an Agile team to translate requirements into user stories and implement new capabilities. The position requires experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerized environments, and processing large datasets using Python and PySpark. Strong understanding of cloud-based software deployment and performance optimization is a must.

LOCATION

Role Highlights
• Work with the Chief Engineer and Technical Leads to translate requirements into user stories to incorporate new functionality into various software applications
• Build with automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and robust CI/CD deployment processes
• Experience developing web APIs to interface with cloud applications and databases as part of cloud native software applications
• Experience working as part of an Agile team to deliver software iteratively
• Experience integrating Python code into Docker containers as part of a distributed architecture.
• Experience designing software application components independently based on requirements
• Experience guiding technical design and architecture in alignment with best practices
• Experience with interfacing with customer stakeholders to align on requirements and technical implementations
Required Skills:
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with:
• Data Processing Python Libraries such as PySpark, Pandas and Numpy
• Experience with API development in Python using Python libraries such as FastAPI
• Experience with Unit Testing Frameworks in PyTest and Mocking
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Python ORM tools for database as code such as SQLAlchemy
• Experience deploying containerized Python code using Docker on cloud platforms such as AWS
