We are seeking an Operations Quality Engineer with hands-on hardware quality experience to become a key part of the Sensors Operations Quality organization. Here at Raytheon, our Operations Quality Team assures product and process quality with an emphasis on Product Compliance, Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement.

What You Will Do
- Plan and execute internal and supplier audits
- Verify product and process compliance with respect to contractual, technical, industry, AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and internal policies
- Develop strong working relationships with touch labor, factory leadership, program leadership, and DCMA
- Review build documentation in preparation for sales activity
- Collaborate with team members, customers, and suppliers in a team environment
Qualifications You Must Have
- University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience with interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, Bill of Materials (BOMs), consumable materials control, and manufacturing process
- Experience in one of the following areas (assembly, inspection, test)
- Experience using root cause and corrective action tools
Qualifications We Prefer
- Six Sigma, Lean experience and/or ASQ Certifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of key process characteristics and ability to implement effective process control techniques.
- Strong familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems
- Proficient in the use of pareto analysis, cause/effect diagrams, process mapping
- Able to facilitate cross-functional teams in systematic improvement activities (e.g. Six-sigma, lean manufacturing)
