Systems and Integration Engineer (SE&I) - Lead

FTS has an opportunity for a Systems and Integration Engineer (SE&I) - Lead in Chantilly, VA.

The Systems and Integration Engineer (SE&I) - Lead will provide systems engineering and technical advisory (SETA) services to our Government customer in a dynamic System Program Office (SPO) at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to the Government customer and related tasks in an integrated office environment (Government Customer and Prime)
• Participate SE&I activities while providing programmatic and technical leadership
• Develop productive relationships with Contractor counterparts, functional counterparts, and other subject matter experts
• Collaborate with our Government Customer, preparing, reviewing, and coordinating documents, briefings and data to help facilitate communications and decision-making
• Participate and provide representation in meetings and contractor reviews, providing technical and programmatic SE&I based recommendations and risk assessments
• Plan, coordinate and execute SE-related forums and meetings within the Customer office and Enterprise
• Interact with other organizations in the Enterprise to coordinate and support Enterprise integration, events and reviews

Required Skills/Qualifications

• TS/SCI with polygraph
• BS Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline
• 14+ years' relevant experience
• Proficient at program/project management within the customer organization
• Experience with NRO satellite systems
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, programmatic, and problem-solving skills
• Strong briefing and writing skills

• MS Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline
