Strategic Analysis, Inc is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Principal Cyber Security Engineer to join our team supporting a government client in Arlington. The selected applicant will provide cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework (RMF) support to systems and applications for the customer. Will work with government and contractor personnel to provide technical and policy direction grounded in Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) policy, and act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) with the cybersecurity domain and lead ISSOs.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct system authorization management to include Body of Evidence review and recommendations, and Policy design and implementation.
• Responsible for all aspects of classified system risk management.
• Review and assist in making determinations on non-standard hardware/software/IT Solutions for an SAP environment.
• Conduct Enterprise system security design and authorization reviews.
• Ensure compliance with federal policies to include: NIST 800-53, ICD-503, JSIG, CNSS 1253, DoD 8510.01 and recommends course of action to the Senior Authorizing Official (SAO)
• Works to support the Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) and Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) on a three-year cycle.
• Responsible for assessing contractor systems for accreditation.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Active TS/SCI and willingness to sit for a poly upon request.
• Bachelor's degree Intelligence Studies or 15 years IT field experience in lieu of degree;
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in conducting security assessments by reviewing security controls with the ISSO/ISSM and guide programs through RMF process.
• Proven expertise with assessing security controls in accordance with NIST Special Publications (i.e.: NIST 800 Series)
• Proven in-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity principles technologies, and processes.
• Experience with NIST 800-53, Security Development
• Familiarity with performing assessments for Unclassified and Classified environments
• Ability to adapt to process changes and interface with senior leadership
• Ability to support high visibility or high priority projects
