ASRC Federal is seeking a dynamic and high energy HR Business Partner to support our Defense and Intel Operating Group in our Huntsville, AL office.
We are looking for a progressive HR Business Partner that is flexible, goal oriented and performance driven. The role requires a self-starter, hands-on approach to leading and executing the HR function for several programs. This is a hybrid role.

Job Description:
- Provides day-to-day HR guidance in the areas of policy interpretation and implementation, staffing and recruitment, compensation and total rewards, employee relations, organizational structure, workforce development, performance management and training to achieve the best possible business solution.
- Analyzes trends and metrics within assigned program to develop and implement initiatives and policies, working in conjunction with HR Business Partners to ensure consistency across the organization.
- Conducts and resolves employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Works closely with the HR COE's (HR Ops, Benefits, Comp, etc) to solve problems and find solutions.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to first line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years of related experience in several of the following areas: employee relations, organizational development, workforce management, compensation, and training and development
- Proven consultancy skills (discovery, problem-solving, developing, and operationalizing business cases) with a track record of building relationships and working collaboratively at all levels
- Strong analytical skills leveraging trends and metrics to influence, prioritize and evaluate initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the Government services industry is highly desired
- PHR/SPHR Certification is desired
- Experience with Service Contract Act desired
