Job Description
*** Must have an active (or ability to obtain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Clearance ***
***This position is contingent upon contract award***
The Machinery Maintenance Mechanic performs preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment and industrial systems, including pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, and production machinery. This position supports operations in a secure government facility and requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues under strict compliance with safety and security standards.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation
• Dismantle and reassemble machines and mechanical equipment for inspection and repair
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective action
• Perform precision alignment, balancing, and installation of mechanical systems
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and document all work performed in accordance with program procedures
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and supervisors to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance
• Comply with facility safety and environmental guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
