This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Program Manager I to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Program Manager I will serve as the primary contract manager and authorized liaison between the company and government stakeholders in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role ensures effective contract management, personnel supervision, and operational efficiency in a mission-critical defense environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Act as the contractor's primary interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), government leadership, and agency representatives.
  • Oversee contract execution, ensuring performance meets objectives, deadlines, and standards.
  • Develop, analyze, evaluate, and improve work methods, procedures, manpower utilization, and delegation of authority.
  • Formulate and enforce work standards, oversee contractor schedules, and review work discrepancies.
  • Supervise contractor personnel, ensuring policies, procedures, and organizational goals are communicated effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD security protocols and operational regulations to maintain contract integrity.
  • Report to senior leadership, providing strategic recommendations for contract optimization and workforce alignment.

What We're Looking For:

  • 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Familiarity with contract management practices, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.
  • Ability to work under general supervision, supporting contract performance objectives.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required; must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience managing government contracts or defense-related projects.
  • Strong ability to coordinate with senior officials and stakeholders to ensure mission success.
  • Expertise in process improvement, compliance, and personnel supervision.
