Job Description
*** Must have an active (or ability to obtain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Clearance ***
***This position is contingent upon contract award***
The Driver Courier is responsible for the secure, timely, and accurate transportation and delivery of documents, mail, packages, materials, and personnel in support of facility operations within a secured government environment. The role requires a professional demeanor, strict adherence to security protocols, and a commitment to operational excellence. Duties may include both on-site and off-site driving assignments, requiring flexibility and reliability.
• Operate government or company vehicles to pick up and deliver materials, supplies, or personnel
• Adhere to specific routing instructions and timelines to ensure secure and efficient deliveries
• Perform routine inspections of vehicles before, during, and after trips to ensure safety and operability
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and delivery receipts in accordance with program requirements
• Comply with all facility and government safety, security, and driving regulations
• Ensure materials are transported in accordance with applicable handling procedures (including chain of custody protocols)
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and security personnel regarding routing, issues, or changes
• Provide support to other departments when not performing courier duties
• Other duties as assigned
