DESCRIPTION
Position: Project Planning Specialist
Location: Wiesbaden, Germany
Clerance: US Secret clearance
Job Description:
Prepare or review/validate annual planning and design project submissions
Assist USAREUR-AF Staff and its subordinate commands with developing requirements into project packets (i.e. cost estimate, scope of work, etc.)
Support/conduct project prioritization and programing to include providing support with preparing for and executing a Real Property Master Planning (RPMP) workshop and Facility Utilization Sync (FUS) meetings
Support/conduct project planning/1391 development, e.g., participate in project planning and design charrettes, site visits, review submittals; obtain necessary agreements/permits/site approvals, obtain waivers where required, etc.
Review project specifications, drawings, and/or reports to ensure construction programs progress in accordance with approved project priorities and ADPs
Develop and maintain planning files, project files, and real property records
Develop trip reports, meeting minutes, executive summaries, and other staff products, as assigned
Collect, track, and facilitate responses to Requests for Information (RFIs)
Communicate with stakeholders, including developing and maintaining current stakeholder rosters
Prepare and/or deliver briefings to leadership at USAREUR-AF or it's subordinate commands
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field and three (3) years of recent specialized experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and six (6) years of recent specialized experience; OR ten (10) years of recent specialized experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience of supporting construction projects, design reviews, knowledge management, writing official correspondence (memorandums, letters, etc.), and creating real property project documentation. These include documentation such as a DA4283, DD1391, and DD1354, but experience on the exact documents is not required
The Project Planning Specialist may be required to work overtime in order to meet the objectives
The Project Planning Specialist shall be required to obtain and maintain all necessary background checks required for access to US, NATO, and NATO partner military bases. Failure to obtain or maintain the required security clearance and/or base access authorization is immediate grounds for termination
Preferably have at least one (1) year of experience working with multi-national organizations or companies
Requires US Secret clearance
