Job Description

This position performs work requiring advanced knowledge and experience related to logistics, customer service, government property accountability, and government Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract support. The Warehouse Supervisor is a working supervisor, flexible, able to adapt to change, must have a servant leadership mindset, intellectual in nature, and able to routinely exercise discretion and judgment to fulfill operational requirements.
Scope:
The Warehouse Operations Lead reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor for daily operational planning and execution. The Warehouse Operations Lead is responsible for providing logistical support to a facilities O&M contract. This position requires the flexibility and performance of a multitude of Integrated Logistics Support functions related to customer service, shipping/receiving, stock item management, material handling, procurement, and vendor management. Candidates for this position must be comfortable working within a secured government facility and the handling, management, and transfer of classified materials.
Daily Duties:
• Work within an office or warehouse setting
• May need to travel to attend to business related matters
• Plan, direct and coordinate activities within assigned work area in accordance with direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, site job instructions, SOPs, policies, government regulations, and the contract Statement of Work
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, automated pallet wrapper, dollies/carts, and other critical equipment, with guidance and direction from the Warehouse Supervisor
• Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles and/or trailers
• Build and stretch wrap pallets
• Product handling, preparation and distribution
• Ensure material received corresponds with packing slips (manifests) and resolve document/material discrepancies
• Commercial/Vendor mail services and routing
• Sort and distribute any material requiring dissemination to personnel
• Direct and confirms inventory accuracy and control
• Develop and lead lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate across all disciplines including logistics, procurement, project management, quality, engineering, maintenance, and construction
• Operate government or Fluor owned vehicles and equipment required to complete daily duties; to include large box trucks
• Maintain effective utilization of all logistical spaces
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
• Proactively manage suppliers and vendor managed inventory to ensure delivery schedules are maintained
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Notify the client upon discovery of equipment, supplies and material that are missing and/or damaged
• Provide surge support to various cross-functional teams supporting Fluor initiatives on-site
• Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
• Ensure proper handling of all sensitive, classified, and/or hazardous materials and equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Perform customer service activities to include but not limited to, answering telephones, communicating with site customers, carrier representatives and drivers
• Understand and apply fundamental mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Support other elements of the Fluor Logistics Team as directed
