ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is currently seeking a Senior Security Specialist to support our INSCOM AT/OPSEC Program at Fort Meade, MD

Job Description

This position is part of a mission-critical program that supports the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) G-35 Protection Division. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP), Emergency Management (EM), Operations Security (OPSEC), Physical Security (PS), and Insider Threat (InT), with strong analytical, policy development, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop policies, procedures, and directives to safeguard the workforce, reduce property loss, and protect automated information systems and assets across the full threat spectrum to ensure mission continuity.
  • Provide comprehensive knowledge of AT/FP, EM, PS, OPSEC, Insider Threat, PERSEC, and Industrial Security program concepts and practices.
  • Interpret and disseminate DOD, Army, and Interagency Security Committee (ISC) regulations and provide expert guidance to INSCOM management on policy execution and compliance.
  • Assist HQ INSCOM Protection Program Manager and Command Antiterrorism Officer in identifying resource requirements in line with DA Program Objective Memorandum Resource Formulation Guide and Schedule 75 timelines.
  • Provide technical guidance on industrial security and collaborate with contracting officers to review contract language to ensure support for protection and security requirements (e.g., OPSEC, INFOSEC, PERSEC, LE, intelligence/foreign disclosure).
  • Support HQ INSCOM G-35 Protection Division with development of OPLANS, OPORDS, and SOPs.
  • Liaise with Department of the Army OPMG, MDW PMO, PFPA, FPS, and local emergency services to coordinate AT and EM planning.
  • Conduct research, benchmarking, coordination, and policy development on emerging AT/FP and EM threats and responses.
  • Perform comprehensive program reviews for HQ INSCOM and its Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) and provide corrective action recommendations.
  • Conduct and deliver security education, training, and awareness across AT/FP, OPSEC, and EM domains.
  • Develop and implement exercises supporting Force Protection preparedness and terrorism incident response.
  • Serve as a member of the HQ INSCOM staff inspection team conducting effectiveness evaluations of implemented protection programs.
  • Utilize DISS to initiate e-QIP/PSIP investigations, and coordinate with DCSA and HQ INSCOM for all PERSEC actions.
  • Ensure all assigned contractor personnel meet required security clearance levels and maintain compliance with access control and investigative timelines.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant experience supporting military OPSEC and protection programs.
  • Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of.
  • Completion of AT Level II and OPSEC Level II (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Strong knowledge of DOD and Army regulations on AT/FP, EM, PERSEC, and OPSEC.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing operational security plans, SOPs, and assessments.
  • Experience with DISS, e-QIP, and PSIP systems.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and policy-writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting INSCOM, Army G-3 Operations, or Joint Protection Programs.
  • Familiarity with JSIVA, DAIG, and DCSA inspections and compliance evaluations.
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively with federal law enforcement, emergency response,
