What You Will Do
- Develop and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) Responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining detailed production schedules that ensure timely execution of installation milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track progress, mitigate risks, and drive schedule compliance aligned with contract and program requirements.
- Strong understanding of production workflows and scheduling best practices.
- Proficiency with scheduling and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel).
- Assist project team with developing and maintaining contract deliverables for various projects.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
What You Must Have
- 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Must have experience and knowledge with Microsoft office.
- Must be able to read technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to work in a shipyard industrial environment to attend on-site meetings and coordinate scheduling reports, as needed.
- Have the ability to read and interpret Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs).
- Must have full understanding of NAVSEA 9090-310 standards, related to formatting the Plan of Action and Milestones.
- Must have experience with the planning, development, and maintenance of resource loaded production schedules.
- Knowledge and experience using Scheduling and Program Management tools (MS Project, Excel and Visio).
Preferred: Bonus Points For
- At least 5 years of direct work experience.
- A current, active DoD secret security clearance or higher.
