We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer (SE3) with hands-on VHDL expertise to help lead advanced systems engineering projects in support of national security. This role offers the chance to work on complex technical challenges, collaborate across teams, and shape the design and development of critical systems that truly make an impact.

What You'll Do
- Analyze user requirements, concept of operations, and system architectures to create detailed system requirements
- Lead system design and development activities, ensuring seamless integration of requirements, design, and technology
- Guide users in defining needs, exploring alternative solutions, and conducting feasibility studies
- Provide expert technical leadership on incorporating new plans, designs, and systems into live operations
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture and design materials
- Lead the creation of system engineering management plans and system integration/test plans
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to address systems engineering challenges and ensure technical alignment
- Take responsibility for the technical integrity of all deliverables within the systems engineering scope
- Communicate effectively with program teams, oversight bodies, and senior leadership
What You Bring (Required)
- Active TS/SCI clearance with full-scope (FS) polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related field (an additional five years of SE experience may be substituted for the degree)
- Twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Demonstrated experience planning and leading large-scale systems engineering efforts
- Strong hands-on experience with VHDL

- Familiarity with additional hardware or software tools that complement VHDL work
- Broader experience in related engineering domains or technologies
