Description:What We're Doing:
As part of Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems business area, the C4ISR line of business creates leading-edge global mission integration capabilities and products for our partners across all domains.
Who We Are:
Our team is building a Command and Control capability that provides a unified, timely, and responsive application enabling Force Readiness tracking and reporting across the Cyber Mission Forces and all of the Service Cyber Components. It is being built to be inter-operable across department, service, or cyberspace partners. It is presently an operational system. The Enterprise Service Center (ESC) effort is to provide Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud system administration and help desk support for all cloud hosting environments and associated applications.
The Work:
As a functional expert supporting the JCC2 ESC, you will provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties.
Must have experience with using and provision cloud services (AWS).
Must provide subject matter expertise with application lifecycle management as it pertains to containerized Kubernetes clustered environments.
Responsible for the installation, orchestration, execution, configuration, security and validation of clusters.
Must have a thorough understanding networking and DNS, scheduling, troubleshooting and logging and monitoring of relevant areas.
Participates in establishing architectural standards that enable DevOps practices like infrastructure as code, policy as code and CI/CD.
Preferred candidate will have proficiency in AWS tools such as: Kubernetes, EKS, Diode, Lambda etc. (not all inclusive) orchestrated/deployed in a cloud environment

Basic Qualifications:
IAT level II
AWS Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or training
1) Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2) Proven experience (6-8yrs.) as a DevOps Engineer, AWS Engineer, or similar role
3) Strong proficiency with AWS services (EKS, CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, EC2, etc.)
4) Hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control
5) Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Java, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks
6) Experience with docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
7) Five (5) years applied experience on containerized platforms.
Please note that this role requires an active TS/SCI to prior to start.
Desired Skills:
AWS SysOps Administrator Certification or training
AWS DevOp Engineer Certification or training
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
