Halcyon Group International is seeking a dedicated and skilled Proposal Writer to support the development of DoD and DoS contract proposals. This role primarily focuses on intelligence-related pursuits within the federal and defense sectors, ranging in complexity from small to large-scale projects.
As a Proposal Writer, you will play a key role in analyzing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), participating in kick-off meetings, status calls, and color reviews, and contributing to proposal development, writing, production, and knowledge management.
Key responsibilities include researching, gathering data, organizing information, and writing content for government solicitations such as technical proposal sections, past performance narratives, resumes, RFI responses, white papers, and other assigned materials. You'll interview technical experts to translate complex information into clear, concise content.
The ideal candidate will ensure all submissions are accurate, complete, and compliant with RFP requirements, editorial guidelines, and corporate quality standards. Collaboration with various teams—including Business Development, Proposal Coordinators, Capture Managers, Authors, Subject Matter Experts, Program Managers, and Support Leads—is essential to success in this role.
