This is a multi-faceted CSSO (Contractor SAP Security Officer), FSO (Facility Security Officer), and SSM (Site Security Manager) position working in support of Special, SCI and Collateral Programs at Raytheon's new Atlanta, GA site. You will help develop, administer, and maintain a comprehensive security program in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. This position will require not only technical and managerial skills, but also a diligent, confident and results oriented work ethic. You will routinely interface with all levels of management and government customers. This is a high-visibility role that is critical to establishing our Atlanta facility's classified capabilities. We are looking for an experienced candidate with a well-rounded understanding of all security facets. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex security regulations are essential for success in this role. We will also explore additional training opportunities to support the chosen candidate in their development. The selected candidate will oversee the new construction and accreditation process.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. What You Will Do
- Understand, implement and ensure compliance with DoD Manual 5205.07, 5220.22-M NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related Industrial Security guidance manuals or Program Security directives
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and addendums, Operation Security (OPSEC) Plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPs), etc.
- Conduct self-inspections and recommend / implement corrective actions
- Program administrative work: personnel processing, visitor control, program related investigations, TS accountability, dispatching and receiving program documents/material and resolving other related program security issues
- Maintain and leverage relationships with internal and external customers, peers and management across program sites and business units
- Manage special access program facility administration in compliance with the Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG) or Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) - 705 related to the physical security and construction requirements for SAP Facilities (SAPFs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Facilities (SCIFs); submit pre-construction and accreditation packages to include Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) and Tempest assessments
- This position will initially be dual-hatted as the Site Security Manager (SSM) and CPSO/CSSO
- The candidate must obtain SSM Certification and if they are not certified, the candidate will attend training prior to construction
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business Management, or similar curriculum and a minimum of 8 years' experience working in Industrial Security, Information Assurance/Cyber, Special Programs, SCI, Collateral, security management, military, or government information security programs with strong demonstrated progression from follower to leader. 12+ years of applicable work experience at the minimum in lieu of a BA degree can be substituted.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TOP SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Prior CSSO/FSO/SSM experience
- Experienced working with COMSEC, conducting inventories, rekeying of critical assets
- Experience managing or overseeing SCIF/SAP planning & design process to include Construction Site Security (CSS), Site Security Management(SSM), Construction Security Planning, Review, Approval and Implementation processes
- Experience with NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, JSIG, ICD-705, DISS, JADE, and ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills related to security policy implementation within the National Security related space
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Experience utilizing DISS and JADE
- Completed related training and/or certification with DCSA and/or CDSE (ex. Introduction to SAPs, ICD-705, SFPC, SPSC, PSC, etc.)
- Organized self-starter capable of identifying priorities and multi-tasking, willing to work extended hours and travel on company business
- Industrial Security and Site Security Manager certificates
