Description:
Tiber Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented multitasker looking to apply their experience in government contracting. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in accounting and contract management as they will be overseeing all contract-related efforts for a Prime contract, including contracts management and subcontracts administration. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to manage customer and partner relationships while collaborating with program and functional team members to facilitate successful contract execution and resolve emerging issues. The candidate must have knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS). The candidate must also have experience with and aptitude for managing contracts within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Working as an authorized agent of the company, with signature authority, to negotiate and enter into contract with the Government and subcontracts for the sale and purchase of services.
• Create, modify, negotiate, and approve Contract Agreements with the Government and with subcontractor partners
• Review, process, and track Prime contract and subcontract funding modifications as well as contract and subcontract hours
• Summarize complex contractual issues; prepare, develop and offer recommendations to leaders regarding creative solutions and risk mitigation planning.
• Communicate with business leaders to understand preparation and administration of strategic Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements and Request for Proposal responses, collaborate with law on licensing of Intellectual property
• Support the development and implementation of contract policies, procedures, and processes
• Ensure government compliance, regulations, policies, and best practices are being met
Qualifications:
• Minimum of five years of Government Contracting experience, specifically with knowledge of FAR/DFARS
• Experience in analyzing and reviewing a variety of contract and subcontract documents
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management (RFP’s, solicitations, execution, compliance, etc.)
• Proven skills in supporting proposal preparation of bids, analysis of RFP requirements and cost/pricing proposal efforts
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter who can work independently and make sound business judgements
• High proficiency in MS Office365 (Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel)
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desired:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field; Experience in Contract Administration may be considered in lieu of degree
• Experience with Procas and Adobe Products (Acrobat PRO)
• Knowledgeable with invoicing or other contract related deliverable experience
• Working knowledge of ITAR, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Development and Management, and File System Management and Organization
• Experience with the Maryland Procurement Office
• An active clearance with a full-scope polygraph
