The Opportunity:

As a CACI Database Administrator, your worksite will be at the Special Operations Command - Africa headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, for the entire period of performance. The database administrator will collaborate with tech-enabled analysts to enable manage a complex range of data sets to enhance understanding of the operating environment. As the database administrator you will provide technical expertise to manage SQL and noSQL databases and completing associated tasks in support of the digital-ISR team. Provide process analysis, automation, and script development, with a focus on maintaining highly available and capable databases and associated platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL database systems.
• Monitor database performance and optimize for efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate with data performers to ensure data feeds remain stable.
• Implement and manage database backup and recovery processes.
• Ensure database security and compliance with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with developers to design and optimize database schemas.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
• Plan and execute database upgrades and migrations.
• Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:

Required:

Active TS/SCI Clearance (No Waiver)

• BA/BS +3 yrs. recent specialized or AA/AS +7 yrs. recent specialized or a major cert + 7 yrs. recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized.

• 3+ years of experience in database management with experience in both SQL and noSQL technologies.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, SQL) and automation frameworks (e.g. Ansible, yaml).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Desired:

• Analyze and identify manual processes and tasks used by operations staff that can be automated Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using a variety of tools and technologies, such as scripting languages (e.g. Python, SQL), automation frameworks (e.g. Ansible, yaml).
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts that integrate with existing systems and applications.
• Work with stakeholders to define automation requirements and ensure that solutions meet their needs.
• Develop and maintain documentation for automation tools and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues and errors.
• Participate in the development of automation standards and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and trends, and apply that knowledge to improve automation solutions.
• Process Automation Focus with Automate manual tasks and processes such as: Data entry and data processing; Report generation and distribution; system monitoring and alerting; Incident management and remediation.
• Compliance and audit tasks; Integrate automation solutions with existing systems and applications.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$105,100 - 231,100 USD
