The Opportunity:
As an IT Project Manager supporting our federal client, you'll lead the charge in delivering mission-critical systems engineering projects within a secure Azure cloud environment. You'll manage a skilled team of systems engineers responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure solutions that meet stringent security and compliance standards. Your leadership will help drive modernization efforts, streamline operations, and ensure successful delivery using Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps toolsets.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure and platform engineering projects in Azure.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, cloud architects, security personnel, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with technical and programmatic goals.
• Manage backlogs, sprints, and pipelines using Azure DevOps to track progress and deliver results in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Monitor project milestones, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with FISMA High and federal cybersecurity standards.
• Support continuous improvement of systems engineering practices, with a focus on cloud adoption, automation, and secure system design.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Qualifications:
Required:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- 10+ years' experience leading and managing incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach with successful product delivery
- Certified Scrum Master/Scrum Practitioner with experience with Scrum teams and use of continuous integration tools and techniques in test-driven development
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence or similar project management tools
- Strong software development background
- Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management
- Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Work experience with the Department of State
