Goldbelt Frontier is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support Army operations in Falls Church, VA. This role involves coordinating domestic and international shipments, managing inventory and equipment logistics for events, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving operations, and maintaining compliance with military movement programs. The specialist will oversee transportation, supply distribution, event logistics, and meal planning, while ensuring proper equipment maintenance and accountability.

This role involves coordinating domestic and international shipments, managing inventory and equipment logistics for events, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving operations, and maintaining compliance with military movement programs. The specialist will oversee transportation, supply distribution, event logistics, and meal planning, while ensuring proper equipment maintenance and accountability.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage import/export procedures, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.
- Organize and coordinate the transportation of goods, including domestic and international shipments.
- Prepare import/export documentation as required.
- Submit logistics plans to ARCP Army leadership 4-6 months before events.
- Ensure accurate order processing, shipment preparation, and dispatch.
- Address logistical issues during shipping and delivery.
- Travel to events as needed, including possible OCONUS travel for the Invictus Games.
- Oversee equipment logistics, inventory management, and maintenance at events.
- Provide supplies for events and competitions.
- Conduct pre-event site visits, reviewing facilities, equipment, and staff support.
- Complete site-visit checklists detailing equipment, support, personnel, and setup/teardown schedules.
- Develop logistics execution strategies for events.
- Supervise transport, distribution, and management of all event-related equipment and supplies.
- Plan and execute meal arrangements for athletes and participants.
- Arrange equipment transport, secure inventory daily, and ensure proper working condition before and during events.
- Coordinate shipping logistics at the start and end of events.
- Track and account for all shipping and receiving operations.
- Ensure routine and unscheduled equipment maintenance.
- Perform technical tasks, maintaining quality and cost control.
- Identify and communicate logistical challenges and solutions.
- Manage logistics operations between warehouses and designated facilities.
- Oversee inventory databases, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on budgets, spending, maintenance, and repairs.
- Maintain effective relationships with technicians, clients, and management.
- Perform additional duties as required by the contract.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Experience in logistics and procurement processes.
- Strong knowledge of inventory procedures and accountability.
- Ability to manage expenses, track receipts, and complete expense reports accurately.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Strong written and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Military Movement Programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of logistics experience supporting event, meal, travel, and shipping operations.
- Warehouse experience handling materials, stock, and storage operations.
- Ability to sit, drive, climb, work in bent positions, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
- Valid state-issued driver's license.
- Valid U.S. passport book (or ability to acquire one).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Government procurement systems.
- DoD logistics experience.
- Familiarity with adaptive sports equipment.
