This role is vital to supporting Army Aviation modernization through strategic analysis, concept development, and capability assessments. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct assessments of aviation organizations to support formation-based analysis, simulation activities, and capability needs assessments.
• Evaluate the performance and relevance of aviation platforms in the context of Large-Scale Combat Operations (LSCO).
• Identify gaps and develop recommendations across aviation tasks, conditions, and standards.
• Lead or support the development, review, and revision of JCIDS documentation and other requirements artifacts.
• Provide subject matter expertise on fixed wing platforms, including operational effectiveness and integration with manned/unmanned systems.
• Deliver high-quality analytical products including white papers, operational views, and requirements documents.
• Collaborate with Army and joint partners in experimentation, wargames, and capability development events.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active or attainable TS/SCI clearance (required within 90 days).
• Rated Army Aviator with 15+ years of flight and combat operations experience.
• Extensive experience in Army Fixed Wing aviation operations.
• Senior or Master Aviator rating.
• Graduate of military staff education equivalent to CGSC/ILE or Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course.
• Dual-qualified in Military Intelligence and Aviation branches.
• Experience as a Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP) or Instructor Pilot (IP) in Fixed Wing formations.
• Proven experience working in or leading fixed wing aviation units of 59-170+ personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and produce senior-level, high-quality deliverables.
• Experience as a Maintenance Test Pilot or Maintenance Examiner in Fixed Wing platforms.
• Active role in the Army Aviation Operations Capabilities-Based Assessment (CBA).
• Worldwide operational deployment experience in Fixed Wing aviation roles.
• Team leadership in developing and submitting a JROC-approved JCIDS document.
• Participation in Joint Working Groups or collaborative aviation modernization efforts.
• Expertise in evaluating technologies, writing concept papers, and facilitating DOTmLPF-P integration.
