CACI is currently seeking a logistics technician for warehouse and operational support functions for the AFCENT IDS systems and program. The Logistics technician will work as part of a small team with the primary focus of supporting the fielding, inventory, shipping and handling, training, integration, and sustainment of these solutions with existing client infrastructure at OCONUS locations.

CACI is currently seeking a logistics technician for warehouse and operational support functions for the AFCENT IDS systems and program. The Logistics technician will work as part of a small team with the primary focus of supporting the fielding, inventory, shipping and handling, training, integration, and sustainment of these solutions with existing client infrastructure at OCONUS locations.
What You'll Get to Do:
- Conduct inventory management of TASS/IDS systems in a variety of locations / environmental conditions to support client TASS/IDS testing and evaluation operations.
- Perform continuing operational support, monitoring, and systems inventories in a variety of locations / environmental conditions to support of AFCENT operational requirements.
- Execute Return Material Authorizations (RMA) with CONUS and OCONUS supported locations
- Conduct basic programming of Electronic Security Systems (install/upgrade, firmware, software upgrades, etc.) to ensure equipment is operational prior to deployment
- Work with the OCONUS deployed team to develop and conduct training on the proper care, use, maintenance and preventive maintenance of systems.
- Maintain equipment inventories and author monthly system status and logistics status reports
- Assess equipment status and inventory levels to support maintenance requirements and system repair times and provide unique systems configurations/solutions to maintain systems operational availability at a maximum level.
- Interface directly with Government customers as the primary logistics technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for TASS/IDS system support.
- Use the designated Logistics Management Inventory System (LMIS) for equipment traceability and generate custom logistics reports based on customer and program requirements
More About the Role:
- Routine manual lifting of objects up to 75 pounds such as boxes and other equipment. Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders; scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 100 feet. Manual dexterity required for frequent reaching, climbing, and lifting of moderate objects, operation of power and manual tools/equipment, and operating office equipment
- Work assignments are performed in the Middle-east where extreme weather conditions exist. Ability to work under extreme hot or cold weather conditions with exposure to dust or dirt is routine and may require the use of protective personal equipment (PPE).
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

- Experience with government Logistics Management System is a plus.
- Prior OCONUS experience is a plus.
