As a Security Hardware Technician (that has the ability to obtain and hold a TS/SCI with a CI poly), you will be in a position that is responsible for performing technical duties related to security surveillance systems, alarm monitoring and access control. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the Enterprise Security Team, managing workloads and ensuring productivity
- Design, install, maintain, repair, replace, test and/or service electronic security alarm systems
- Program and maintain equipment systems, including video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire alarm, asset protection and environmental detection
- Install CCTV, access control and intrusion hardware cabling
- Help with testing of installed equipment
- Provide basic programming, such as adding cameras, card readers and alarm points to any system
- Schedule and assist in performing preventative maintenance and repair
- Support security projects by implementing timelines, monitoring progress and making necessary updates/changes
- Ability to manage technical support teams as well as train new security staff
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical skills
- Skilled with hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently or with a small team
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Electrical Certification (Master), OR minimum 15 years' experience
- Clearance Required - TS/SCI w/ CI Poly
