As they continue to scale, they are seeking a results-driven Controller to lead the financial operations and support our strategic goals.

Position Summary

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting executive decision-making with timely forecasts and analysis. This individual will manage financial processes across multiple entities, including restaurants and properties, and ensure full reporting for tax obligations. This is a remote position requiring high levels of accountability and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own all accounting functions, including general ledger, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and intercompany accounting across multiple entities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and P&L reports for each business unit and the consolidated group.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis efforts to support strategic planning.
  • Manage payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing across all locations.
  • Oversee the timely payment of bills, vendor management, and expense tracking.
  • Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations, and ensure financial integrity across all platforms and accounts.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
  • Coordinate with external accountants for tax filings and year-end audits.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to ownership and leadership teams.
  • Support systems and process improvements across the finance function to enhance scalability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience
