Responsibilities

  • Receives and distributes sensitive materials, parts and equipment throughout a Theater of operations supporting the Unmanned Airial Vehicle (UAV) program.
  • While operating in a classified environment, develops, maintains or improves reporting matrixes to accurately track and report end-to-end status of all sensitive materials, parts and equipment requested, procured, manufactured, fabricated or shipped in support of the UAV program.
  • Inventories, safeguards and properly accounts for sensitive materials, parts and equipment valued in the millions.
  • Acts as the liaison between the vendor and government representatives in matters of expediting sensitive materials, parts and equipment that have long lead-times.
  • Obtains transportation to pick-up and/or receive sensitive materials, parts and equipment from multiple sources.
  • Request parts.
  • Submits, coordinates and/or close-out Transportation Movement Requests (TMR).
  • Retrogrades unserviceable, unwanted and excess sensitive materials, parts and equipment from a strategic theater of operation to a depot level of repair.
  • Maintains a document file of all sensitive materials, parts and equipment received, shipped and/or retrograded.
  • Assists the Joint Special Operations Task Force with maintaining adequate stocks of repair parts on hand to maintain readiness.
  • Develops logistics strategies and recommends changes to processes to keep programs ahead of schedule.
  • Assesses, manages and works to reduce risk factors. Enhances workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.
  • Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
  • Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
  • Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports. Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers. Performs work under minimal supervision.
  • Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Must possess a US SECRET clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain licensing to operate MHE.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend, reach and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs.
  • Must have a thorough and complete understanding of manual unit supply procedures.
  • Must have military experience in Unit Supply Procedures (92Y MOS preferred).
