ManTech seeks a motivated, career customer-oriented Naval Administrative Assistant to join our team in Chesapeake, VA. This is an onsite position

- Office Administration
- Filing and recording Government specialized documentation
- Converting and editing U.S. Navy and Coast Guard technical Documents
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or GED
- 1+ years of office administration or Naval business administrative experience
- Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with office communication, written and verbal
- Experience with Microsoft programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with Navy Maintenance databases, especially: Maintenance and Ship Work Planning (M&SWP)
- Experience applying redlines to XML formatted procedures in accordance with strict editing standards
- Experience applying redlines to drawings in accordance with strict editing standards
- 1+ years experience being able to decipher redlines (changes) on technical procedures and drawings made by validators (other team members) who recently visited updated ships
- Perform Quality Assurance checks on procedures and drawings to ensure compliance with editing standards
Clearance Requirements:
- US Citizenship required and a current Interim Secret security clearance or higher or ability to obtain Interim Secret prior to start.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
